An Ohio tea party leader says he's decided against challenging Governor John Kasich in the Republican primary. Ted Stevenot says he made the decision based on discussions with family, friends, and advisers. He says the decision had nothing to do with concerns about his running mate, Brenda Mack, former head of the Ohio Black Republicans Association. Mack filed for bankruptcy in 2008. Stevenot says Mack struggled to make ends meet after being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. A spokesperson says the Ohio tea party is working to recruit a new primary challenger.
