Marion police believe they have arrested the major dealer supplying the "Blue Drop" heroin that hospitalized more than four dozen people for treatment of overdoses and killed at least five people who overdosed in the last several weeks. The heroin is laced with the powerful pain killer fentanyl and is much more powerful than the pure version. Police Chief Bill Collins says his officers along with state and federal agents raided three homes on Wednesday and sezied more than two pounds of the drug. Collins says the alleged dealer, Eric Creagh, is facing federal drug possession charges.
Collins says Creagh could face more charges if any of the overdoses and deaths are linked to the drugs he is charged with selling.
