A judge has ruled Ohio University is not responsible for the nearly 29 hundred dollar dental bill for a student who slipped on an icy campus sidewalk and broke two of her teeth last February. The ruling overturns one from the Ohio Court of Claims in a lawsuit filed by Hannah Scolaro, who claimed the school was negligent for failing to remove ice and snow or salt its sidewalks. The judge says OU had no duty to remove the ice and snow or warn the public of related dangers.
