One of two people charged in connection with the shooting death of a Columbus handyman during a failed robbery attempt will serve life in prison. 19-year-old Jafet Medrano has pleaded guilty to killing 49-year-old William Keen at a Prairie Township home in 2014. The other defendant, 20-year-old Bryan Mathews, is scheduled for trial in mid-April.
