Cleveland Clinic Now Says Uterus Transplant Was A Failure

The Cleveland Clinic says the nation's first uterus transplant has failed. The 26-year-old Texas woman who received the transplant February 24 experienced a sudden complication this week. Doctors removed the donor uterus on Tuesday. The hospital does not know what went wrong, but says the clinical trial to perform 10 transplants at the facility will continue.
