Sentencing is scheduled November 9 for a Columbus man who pleaded guilty this week for his role in a robbery in which two accomplices were shot and killed by police officers. 22-year-old Aarin Clinkscale is one of four people who robbed an Alum Creek Drive store in 2014. Officers conducting a stakeout shot and killed 18-year-old Qusean Whitten and 20-year-old Elisha Glass following a confrontation. 19-year-old Savon Dearmond goes on trial in October.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
