Prosecutor Wants Sheriff's Bond Revoked

A special prosecutor says Sandusky County Sheriff Kyle Overmyer has violated terms of his bond by having contact with witnesses and people in the  office and should go back to jail. Overmyer, who is running for re-election, is charged with stealing medications from prescription drug disposal drop boxes and other crimes.  Overmyer's attorney says the move is timed to influence the outcome of next week's election. Overmyer says the allegations first made by police chiefs in the county are  politically motivated.
