A&F Lays Off 150 Employees

New Albany-based teen clothier Abercrombie & Fitch has laid off 150 people at its headquarters, citing poor market conditions. A&F says same-store sales in its fiscal third quarter fell, while profit declined by 81 percent. Over the past six years, the retailer has closed 350 stores around the world, and that process is expected to continue.
