The Ohio House has approved a bill lowering the penalties for concealed-carry permit holders who fail to tell police they have a weapon when they're detained. The proposal reduces the penalty from a misdemeanor to a 25 dollar fine.Gun rights groups are hoping lawmakers do away with the penalties entirely, while police groups oppose the change. The bill now goes to the Ohio Senate.
