Republican Ohio Governor John Kasich says he would not have called Russian President Vladimir Putin to congratulate him on his election win, as President Trump did recently.
On CNN Sunday, Kasich called Putin a dictator but said the U.S. should be talking with Russia.
The governor also criticized Trump's nomination of former ambassador John Bolton as national security advisor. Kasich says any president needs a national security team with a diversity of opinion.
