Former U.S. House Speaker John Boehner of Ohio says he's had a change of heart on marijuana and will promote its nationwide legalization.
Boehner also has joined the advisory board of New York-based Acreage Holdings, a multi-state cannabis company. The West Chester Republican says he dropped his opposition when he saw how marijuana helps people with chronic illnesses and its negative impact on the criminal justice system.
