A dozen activists protesting immigration restrictions were arrested following an action that temporarily shut down a street in downtown Columbus this morning. A coalition of activists blocked the the local Immigration and Customs Enforcement office, and spilled out onto Front Street across the street from City Hall. Columbus firefighters were called to remove a giant tripod the groups erected on the street. Police say the protesters face charges of disorderly conduct and failure to comply.
