Coroner Says No Drugs Or Alcohol In System Of Cincinnati Bank Building Shooter

The Hamilton County coroner's office says there were no drugs or alcohol detected in the body of a gunman who killed three people in the Fifth Third Bank building lobby in September.

Police say 29-year-old Omar Santa Perez wounded two other people before officers fatally shot him. The coroner tested the body for a range of illegal and prescription drugs. The coroner's report says he had heart disease. Police still don't know why he entered the building and opened fire. Florida court records show family members wanted years ago to have him committed to a mental-health facility.
