Whitehall police say 12 women found Thursday inside a Columbus home have been identified as possible victims of human trafficking.
Narcotics officers executing a search warrant at a home in the 800 block of Ruby Avenue in Columbus found the women. The home was a known site for human trafficking. 18 people were found inside. 12 were interviewed and identified as the possible victims. The women range in age from 20 to 40 years old. Police have charged David Dehus II, Samantha Miller and Dustin Speakman with drug trafficking. Futher charges are expected. The Salvation Army and the Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force are assisting the victims.
