The U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has accepted a plan from St. Ann's Hospital to address problems with the hospital's environment.
A Mount Carmel Health System spokeperson says officials have completed all of the actions in the plan, and they expect a follow-up inspection. Earlier this year the agency said two of its hospitals were in danger of losing federal funds following the firing of doctor William Husel, who is accused of giving fatal doses of painkillers to dozens of patients.
