Portman, Brown Meet With GM Boss About Lordstown

Associated Press

Members of Ohio's congressional delegation came away with few answers after meeting Wednesday in Washington with the head of General Motors about the future of its shuttered Lordstown assembly plant.

GM stopped production in March and announced it was looking at selling the site to an upstart electric vehicle maker.  Republican U.S. Senator Rob Portman and Democratic U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown both expressed doubts about whether the sale will go through. They the first choice remains finding a way to continue building cars at the plant.
