Today is the start of the 58th annual Columbus Arts Festival downtown.
The Greater Columbus Arts Council event is funded through private partnerships and a share of the city hotel-motel tax. It is expected to draw 450 thousand people through Sunday evening. GCAC's Jami Goldstein tells Alison Holm this year's festival has a newly expanded footprint - 270 artists from 44 states and four countries, as well as five entertainment stages and a line-up of daily headliners.
Goldstein says a map of the festival and information is available online. And she recommends downloading the app for all the latest updates.
