Ohio University has told the Rho Beta Chapter of the Theta Tau professional engineering fraternity to cease and desist all organizational activities as it investigates allegations of hazing.
The school says it is probing allegations the frat participated in conduct that put the health and safety of its members at risk. The nature of the allegations have not been released. The university suspended all Interfraternity Council Organizations on October 3, but later amended or ended their suspensions. Beta Theta Pi, Lambda Chi Alpha, Phi Kappa Psi, Sigma Chi, the Men's Rugby club, and the marching ban remain under cease and desist orders.
