The father of former Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliot is facing 21 charges in connection with a serval found loose in Canal Winchester in October.
The Ohio Department of Agriculture executed a search warrant at the home of Stacy Elliot after the serval was killed by Fairfield County Sheriff's deputies after it attacked a dog and became aggressive. Officials say they have no records of anyone applying for a permit to own the cat. Under Ohio law it is a first-degree misdemeanor not to have an exotic animal permit and a fifth-degree felony for allowing one to escape.
