Judge Rejects Municipal Efforts To Delay Portions Of State Gun Law

A judge has rejected a request by several Ohio cities to delay part of the state's new gun law.

The cities say it infringes on their ability to regulate firearms and violates the home rule provision of the state constitution. One of the provisions would allow gun owners who believe their rights have been violated to sue the cities. The judge says the cities failed to show they would be successful in their legal challenge of the law.
