Backers Make Another Attempt To Legalize Marijuana In Ohio

WCBE files

Backers of a proposed constitutional amendment to legalize recreational marijuana in Ohio have submitted one thousand petition signatures to the Attorney General's office.

The proposal would allow adults over the age of 21 to buy, possess, consume and grow limited amounts. The state's current medical marijuana program would remain in place. Voters rejected a legalization measure in 2015.
