No injuries, arrests or property damage are reported following Saturday's march through Beavercreek in honor of the black man shot and killed by a white police officer at a store in 2014.
Hundreds of protesters called for racial justice in store parking lot where John Crawford III was killed. Similar marches were held in Columbus, Mason and other Ohio cities. On Sunday, protests in Columbus were peaceful and organized for black women by black women. The Black Excellence Ladies Edition march was meant to compliment last weekend's all-male event. Three of the main points were education, access, and action. Marchers also encouraged people to register to vote.
