CAPA and the Greater Columbus Arts Council have created a website to catalog the temporary murals painted primarily in the Short North and downtown areas.
Artists painted images and messages over the boarded up storefronts after initial protests regarding racism and police brutality caused some damage.
Officials say the artunitescbus.com website stands as a tribute to the diverse artists who created works of hope, unity, love, and support for the Black Lives Matter movement.
As businesses and organizations begin to remove the plywood and reopen, the groups are working on plans to store the murals and welcoming suggestions for a permanent exhibition of the work. Residents can submit feedback through the website artunitescbus.com
