One of the nine students shot and wounded by Ohio National Guard troops during a Vietnam War protest at Kent State University in 1970 has died. The sister of 71-year-old Alan Canfora reported his death on social media Sunday. In the years since the shootings, he became an activist and has been involved in politics as chair of the Barberton Democratic Party.
