The future of the Columbus Destroyers is in doubt after the Arena Football League suspended local business operations for all six teams Tuesday.
The Albany Times-Union reports the league commissioner says a decision on a full suspension has not been made, but the league will not be continuing to operate business operation units in local markets. A league statement says the move is a direct consequence of current financial constraints, which include extensive legacy liabilities and a recent multimillion-dollar litigation by an insurance carrier related to prior league operations.
