The Ohio Attorney General's office is no longer prosecuting the family accused of killing eight members of the Rhoden family in Pike County in 2016.

The state was allowed to withdraw its special prosecutors after claiming the county prosecutors can handle the case against the Wagner family.  The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation will continue to provide evidence in the case.
