Airbnb Restricts Dozens Of Ohio Listings Over House Party Violations

Property rental portal Airbnb is suspending or removing 88 property listings in Columbus, Cincinnati and Cleveland from its platform.  The company says the move is part of the its crackdown on house parties and large gatherings amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Service rules limit rental occupancies to 16 guests.  Airbnb says several people have mad complaints about the properties hosting more than 16 guests.  The company moved to ban party houses last year, and has blocked nearly 200 high-risk reservations in the state.
