Anti-Trump Protestor Assaulted At Ohio State

Ohio State University police say a student shoved a man down a flight of stairs during an anti-Donald Trump rally yesterday. 24-year-old Shane Stanton is charged with assault after he allegedly threw himself into protester Timothy Adams, who was giving a speech from a staircase landing in the student union. Adams sustained minor injuries. Meanwhile, members of central Ohio's Muslim community say the election of Trump is behind an increase in reports of harassment. The Columbus chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations says women wearing head scarves have taken the brunt of threats and verbal assaults since last week's election. CAIR officials say the harassment is coming from a small minority, but they're urging Muslims to be careful in public.
