An Ohio appeals court has denied former Akron Police Captain Douglas Prade's request for a new trial for the murder of his wife.
The court upheld a Summit County judge's decision, ruling new evidence in the case would not sway a jury. The Ohio Innocence Project presented new DNA results it says rule him out as the killer. Prade is 21 years into a life sentence for killing Margo Prade.
