Authorities Link Newark Man To Florida Homicide

A man on death row for the 2000 murder of a Newark woman has been named a suspect in a Florida cold case homicide. Charlotte County, Florida Sheriff's deputies say DNA evidence links Roland Davis to the 1990 stabbing death of 42-year-old Sharon Gill. Davis is on death row for the July, 2000 stabbing death of 86-year-old Elizabeth Sheeler in Newark.
