The cities of Dayton And Bexley are now requiring citizens to wear face masks in public spaces to prevent the further spread of coronavirus.
Exceptions are for eating, swimming and certain work environments. It's not clear what, if any, punishments will be issued for citizens who don't wear a mask. The measures have the support of Governor Mike DeWine, who wants other Ohio cities to follow suit. Columbus Mayor Andy Ginther tweeted last night he is “strongly considering” such a mandate.
