BREAD Wants To Meet With Ginther, FOP Head Over Changes To Policing

breadcolumbus.com

A Columbus faith-based organization  has sent letters requesting meetings with the mayor and head of the police union to discuss changes to the Columbus Division of Police.

Building Responsibility, Equality, and Dignity (B.R.E.A.D.) seek separate one-hour meetings in  June. Bread wants the union to support municipal ID cards for residents and improve efforts to reduce gun violence. No word on whether the meetings will take place.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
