Building Resilience - A Key Foundation For Change

Resilience remains a key foundation to personal and organizational success. This interview with Mark Palmer and Belinda Gore focuses on individual resilience. The conversation seeks to help you expand your understanding of resilience overall, how it connects to stress, how it is connected with success, how to measure it and what to do to build it.

Mark Palmer is a thought leader, author, consultant and entrepreneur specializing in organization development, change management, strategic planning, and innovative talent metrics. He is a managing partner for Hire Direction, a data-driven talent solutions provider, co-founder of LaborGenome talent mapping technology, and Principal for Innovative Leadership Institute, focusing on leadership development, team building, and organizational effectiveness. Mark is the creator of the Position Success Indicator, co-creator of DEV:Q Talent Metrics, and has over 20 years of experience working with organizations to improve strategic planning, team performance, market research, and data insights. His background is in behavioral science, information systems, and data modeling applications.

Belinda Gore, Ph.D., is a psychologist, coach and experienced teacher with skill in supporting high-level learning and personal development. As a senior faculty with the Deep Coaching Institute, she uses the Enneagram system along with thirty years' experience in facilitating change to help coaches, therapists, and leadership consultants learn to embody deep level transformation though the practice of Presence. While specific tools may assist them in their work, it is their very presence that most often initiates the extraordinary shifts in consciousness — in individuals and in organizations— that create deep change. In keeping with her commitment to the Enneagram as a versatile tool for personal and professional development she accepted a position on the Board of Directors of the International Enneagram Association. Belinda played a key role in defining the Innovative Leadership Framework.
