Franklin County Sheriff's deputies say a vehicle fleeing a traffic stop Sunday ran off the road, killing the driver and an adult passenger and injuring two children.
Deputies say the driver, 35-year-old Yoni Martinez, fled at a high rate of speed and apparently lost control on State Route 762 west of Walker Road in Commerical Point. Authorities have not released the name of the passenger who was killed nor the names of the children, who are hospitalized in stable condition. The crash remains under investigation.
