CCS Closed Again Amid Cold And Snow Covered Streets

Columbus residents should start to see snowplows pass down their streets today, two days after a winter storm dumped nearly eleven inches of snow in their neighborhoods. Public Service Department officials say crews are moving to side streets, after fielding hundreds of 311 calls from residents angry about being stuck on unplowed roadways. There's no word yet on how long it'll take to have all the city's streets cleared. The Columbus school district canceled classes for the third straight day today because of the cold morning wind chills and snow-covered sidewalks and bus stops that aren't safe for kids. Most other central Ohio districts are on two-hour delays.
