The Columbus police firearms review board says an officer acted within policy when he shot and killed a wanted man in April of last year.
The board says Gregg Seevers shot 64-year-old Abadi Gebregziber while another officer used a taser. A grand jury earlier this year declined indict Seevers for killing Gebregziber on Walford Street. Gebregziber was wanted for stabbing and killing three people and injuring a fourth. It's not clear when the board last found an officer failed to follow policy in a use-of-force case.
