Charges Against Man Assaulted By Grant Medical Center Guards Dropped

Charges have been dropped against the man assaulted by three Grant Medical Center security guards outside the hospital Monday night  The Columbus city attorney's office says the disorderly conduct charge against 38-year-old Shelton Adams was dismissed yesterday at the request of hospital officials.  A video posted online this week shows the guards using batons and pepper spray before shoving Adams to the ground. The woman who recorded it says Adams had come outside to smoke a cigarette and did nothing wrong.
