Franklin County's only domestic violence shelter and 24-hour crisis hotline has a new larger location with improved privacy.
Managers at CHOICES say the 55-thousand-square-foot building has an enclosed courtyard and a kennel for pets. CHOICES' previous shelter only had room for 51 beds, but the new space has 121 beds and room to grow. For safety purposes, the new shelter's location is confidential. Domestic violence victims can reach CHOICES through the crisis hotline.
