Cincinnati Cops Now Support Updating Collaborative Agreeement

fop69.org

Members of the Cincinnati police union are supporting changes to the city's Collaborative Agreement, created over a decade ago to improve police operations after the shooting death of an unarmed black man by a white officer. Union members voted last night to work on updating the pact.  A similar vote failed earlier this summer amid criticisms made by civilian members of a group working on the update. Those criticisms were made  after the trial of Ray Tensing, the white University of Cincinnati officer who was charged with shooting and killing unarmed black motorist Samuel DuBose.
