Cleveland Cops Involved In 2012 Fatal Shootings Get Their Jobs Back

Oct 23, 2017

Five Cleveland police officers involved in the fatal shooting of two unarmed African-Americans are getting their jobs back.

Police union officials say Wilfredo Diaz, Brian Sabolik, Erin O'Donnell, Michael Farley and Christopher Ereg won their grievances.  The officers were fired for policy violations after chasing Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams for 22 minutes before killing them in a barrage of nearly 140 shots in 2012.  Michael Brelo remains off the force after being acquitted of manslaughter.
