Clothing Retailer Getting Tax Break For Local Project

The City of Groveport is giving a profitable clothing retailer a 10-year, 50 percent income tax break. In exchange, The Gap will not move it's distribution center to Tennessee as it had threatened to do under a plan to consolidate its facilities, meaning the retention of 17 hundred jobs. Under terms of the deal, the firm will expand the facility and also move 75 jobs from Grove City.
