CMC Forum: Ohio State University President Kristina Johnson

Dr. Kristina M. Johnson was named the 16th President of Ohio State University on June 3rd. Only the second female to claim the role, she assumed office amid a pandemic and a decision by the Big Ten to cancel its football season. Just a few short months later, she, the university, and the surrounding community experienced the antiracist protests that followed the killing of George Floyd. When asked about where she would place her focus during her challenging first days, the new president stated in the September 25th issue of Columbus Business First, ““It’s trying to make sure that we come out stronger, better, healthier and safer. That’s a big priority for me.” CMC looks forward to welcoming Dr. Johnson to the stage.
