Columbus To Consider Legislation Governing Scooters

citybeat.com

Columbus City Council is planning to consider legislation governing the use of ridesharing scooters.

The mayor's office and city attorney will work with council on legislation when the panel returns from its summer break in September.  The city attorney has said current law is too vague to block scooters from streets and sidewalks. Fire official say there were eight injuries in accidents involving motorized scooters last week alone.
