Rosser and Lancaster were fired for their roles in the arrest of porn star Stormy Daniels. Council approve a one-year grant to fund the city's second opioid response unit. Columbus fire chief Kevin O'Connor says the unit will respond within 48 hours of an overdose:

O'Connor says when paramedics respond to opioid overdoses, often the people being treated refuse to be taken to a hospital.  Council also approved a 13 million dollar payment to the authority created to build a downtown soccer stadium for the Columbus Crew SC. The payment is the first of three totaling 38 million. The city also will spend 12 million on infrastructure improvements.
