The Republican National Committee says eight cities have been named finalists to host the party's 2016 national convention, including Columbus, Cincinnati and Cleveland. The others are Denver, Dallas, Kansas City, Las Vegas and Phoenix. It's not clear when a host city will be selected. All of the cities see the convention as a potential economic boost.
