A Columbus police officer shot and wounded a person last night on the east side.
Police say the person got into an argument with a responding officer at a gas station on East Livingston Avenue and was shot while fleeing the scene. The name and gender of the person have not been released. Police say the person is hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
