Columbus To Review Officers' Response To Police Brutality Protests

wikimedia.org

The City of Columbus will conduct a 250 thousand dollar after action review study into last summer's police brutality protests. The study will be conducted by the OSU College of Public Affairs. It will look into how the city prepared for the protests, how well training held up, and what recommendations can be made for the future.  Cleveland-based law firm Baker Hostetler was hired earlier this year to look at 40 alleged criminal incidents involving police, but found only one allegation could be sustained.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
