Columbus Zoo director emeritus Jack Hanna has announced that he plans to retire after 42 years on the job.
Hanna will finish the remainder of the year and retain his title. Hanna says he wants to spend more time with his family. He started as the zoo's director in 1978, has written 15 books and won five Emmy Awards.
