The committee conducting the search for a new Columbus Police Chief has narrowed the list of applicants down to five finalists.
They are Interim Police Chief Thomas Quinlan, former Seattle Assistant Chief Perry Tarrant, AMTRAK Assistant Police Chief D. Samuel Dobson, Baltimore County Maryland Police Colonel Alexander Jones, and Cincinnati Assistant Chief Paul Neudigate. The committee says interviews will start in November, and it hopes to have a recommendation for city officials before the end of the year.
