Coroner Reports Another Spike In Drug Overdose Deaths

octf.franklincountyohio.gov

The Franklin County Coroner's office has reported yet another surge in opioid overdose deaths.

There were six overdose deaths last Friday, the fourth consecutive Friday with a surge. Police believe people are refusing to call 911 out of fear of contracting COVID-19 at a hospital.  The office urges people to keep narcan on hand, use fentanyl test strips and call 911 in case of an overdose.
